Tourism is Botswana’s second largest contributor to their GDP so has been identified as an engine for growth and economic diversification. The country’s heritage trails are designed to connect routes that traverse tourism hotspots while ensuring local communities, including women and youth, are connected to the tourism ecosystem but there is still lots to do.
